"Still Life Oil Painting" (My very first Painting!!)
I decided to "get out of my box" and take my first painting class. I have three artists in my family which I greatly admire & since I am lacking in this area, I thought, why not give it a try & see.
I finally got brave enough & signed up for my "first" painting class, having no clue what I was doing. I was definitely so nervous, but that didn't stop me from just "going for it". I was really surprised to see the colors that were mixed together to create the colors I wanted.
I also learned about shadowing..the hard way...my first shadowing was on the wrong side! LOL, which in turn, taught me a little about covering up mistakes.
My painting turned out to be more I expected & I sometimes I just surprise myself.
So, here is my finished First Painting!!
